I started Rancho Bombero by looking backward. Growing up in a blue-collar family in Virginia, I was introduced early to homemade oils and natural remedies through my mother, Gwendolyn. These were traditions passed down through generations, using natural ingredients to care for cuts, bruises and dry skin.

In my early 30s, I found myself dissatisfied with the products being offered to guys, so going back to those roots became my answer.

The body oil came first. I wanted to make the absolute best oil I could, one that worked for my skin and hair while keeping my body balanced. I spent a lot of time experimenting with different oils until I found the combination I was looking for, with a scent I enjoyed and could wear daily. I built Rancho Bombero to give the people

I care about most a better option. That means making products that work and that I genuinely like to use myself. Taking care of yourself shouldn’t take up your precious time, and good products should be attainable. As Rancho grows, I want to keep making things with that in mind.
